This is a compilation of my remembrances and experiences with regard to the Iraq War, known as Operation Iraqi Freedom or “OIF” from roughly December 2002 – April 2004. The anecdotes are told in rough chronological order, although I will inject dates as I remember them, or if they are particularly pertinent. These represent my “take” only and others present at various events will undoubtedly have a different view.
Most names have been changed to protect the innocent and to preserve privacy.
